District Governor Jim Campbell's Welcome Message

R. I. President D.K. Lee is expressing a vision in his theme Make Dream Real. His vision is to make dreams real for the 30,000 children under the age of five who die each day from preventable causes by lowering the child mortality rate through clean water, health and hunger programs and through the education of parents.

As a Rotarian you make dreams real. Every day you bring hope to those who have none, and bring comfort to those in need.

You make dreams real by supporting The Rotary Foundation (TRF) through the Annual Programs Fund (APF). You make dreams real with your hands, locally, and internationally. You make dreams real by growing Rotary, bringing in the new hearts and hands to carry this organization forward.

We need to work diligently to promote peace, goodwill, and better understanding, through the Peace Fellows program, the Ambassadorial Scholar program, with more inbound and outbound Youth Exchange students, and through our Group Study Exchange (GSE) with District 9200 in East Africa. When we make personal connections with other parts of the world we promote peace.

We have much to do. Let's work together. Let's Make Dreams Real.
