District Governor-elect's Message
Hello Fellow Rotarians,
Just a few words about myself. I have been a member for the Fairfield/Suisun noon club since 1985 (sponsored by Ralph Darville) and became a "True Rotarian" in 1998 when I completed my first year of perfect attendance. I served as President of our club in 2003/04 and then became Assistant Governor for Solano County in 2004/05. I was then honored by being named Lt. Governor for 2006/07 under the grand leadership of PDG Candy Pierce. I am a multiple Paul Harris fellow, Major Benefactor, and a Paul Harris Society member.
I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a BS degree in accounting. I am currently Owner/Broker of Kilmer & Associates Commercial Real Estate and Property Management and have been in business for 25 years.
My passions in life are Rotary, Firefighting and Travel. I spent 20 years as a Volunteer with the Fairfield Fire Department and the last 5 years with the Suisun Fire Protection District. I am an experienced Bareboat Charter Captain and not a bad cook. I love the Caribbean and the British Virgin Islands, snorkeling, diving and just having fun.
I am very excited about my year as District Governor. Our District Leadership team is coming together and I expect 2009/10 to be a Great Rotary Year. I look forward to meeting with all of my extended Rotary Family while we pursue the great works of Rotary at the International, District, Club and personal levels.
