Club Bulletin and Website Recognition
The District 5160 Awards Committee, when judging Club Bulletins and Websites for Recognition, will use the criteria listed below.
If your club wants to be considered in either of these recognitions the following must occur on or before March 15, 2007:
- Submit to Christine Pahl, District Awards Chair, your Club's website address. Her email address is .
- Indicate your Club's interest in which of the recognition categories (Bulletins and/or Website) your Club would like to enter.
- If your Club is entering the Club Bulletin competition, one Club Bulletin should be emailed or sent to Christine at the end of the remaining two quarters (March 31, 2007, and June 30, 2007.) The Club Bulletin that you choose to submit for that quarter is up to you! If Christine does not receive one Club Bulletin from your Club by the end of each quarter, your Club will not be considered for the Club Bulletin Recognition.
APPEARANCE & FORMAT (General Information) (50%)
- Color/Pictures/Design
- Name of Bulletin, Club
- List of make-up clubs (website recognition only)
- Name of District Governor and Editor
- Four Way Test; Rotary Motto
- Names of Officers & Board of Directors (website recognition only)
- Meeting Place, Time and Date
- Issue date
- Four Avenues of Service (website recognition only)
CONTENT (50%)
- A Rotary article every week
- Past, Present and Future Programs
- Local and District events
- Committee Reports (when applicable, but at least once)
- Brief biography of new Rotarians
